Whelp. This has been sitting around since Christmas, actually. But a commission from 
of a character of a story I was writing, and did my stab at coloring it. This time I tried to go for a more storybook/traditional feel, so I don't know how well I did on that. I should also note that it was the first time I used my tablet then after I had graduated.

There is something about this I just love. It has a wholesome feel to it. I probably would have put some leaves in front of the trunk of the tree, so it didn't look like a stick with a coat, but it IS a tall tree!. I love how you did the lines to delineate the bark on the tree, and the main character looks very serene and comfortable. Your shadows are perfect, and it is obvious that you are very good with digital work. I know you posted two other works for me to comment on, but as I was perusing your gallery, I just fell in LOVE with this deviation and had to comment!
