The Woman That Cared

Somewhere in the distance, a woman runs in the gloomy overcast streets of a small town. About my age, someone that means a lot to me.

Her clothes are soaked, spattered with mud. Her feet dive into puddles with no regard, hair sticking to her cheeks. Raindrops drip from her chin, her bulky skirts scooped up to knee height. But she keeps going, never stopping.

With all things considered, she's a wreck.

But none of that matters to her. That's because she only has one thing in mind.

To get to my side so I won't face my darkness alone.

Figured I should at least upload something for the summer as its almost over. It's almost my birthday in a few days, too. But Mellas wrapped up my commission that was sitting for the longest while. Enjoy the blurb and piece!

Aside from the story, girl is an OC cosplaying in another character clothes. The story just sort of happened due to some events this week. As such, I just morphed the piece into a different direction instead. This is mostly to some personal issues and me wanting something to relate/express myself.
