Space Raptor Weapons - 1

EDIT: For the past two years, this has been the most viewed deviation in my gallery for some odd reason. I'm glad that someone likes something out of there, so I do appreciate it. Thank you.

I just saw a deviation with C-Force pointing to a thing called "Pimp My Gun" Its quite fascinating. I decided to try to do some of my weapons in it, and came out with some suprising close results with the Space Raptors weapon set.

Not everything is here, but clockwise, their standard assault rifle, standard pistol, and heavy pistol.

1. Assault Rifle: Copy of the G36C line of Earth, Proximan engineers specifically designed and created this rifle to give the biggest bullet it could deliver with the highest accuracy. It fires 6.8mm armor-pentetraing incindeiary depleted uranium rounds (APIDU) at a rate of roughly 250 rounds per minute. The rifle has an internal mechanism inside to mimize recoil and jamming, and can be put through the toughest of environments, even vacuum and underwater. The rifle also has a secondary barrel for heavy rounds, shotgun rounds, or small rockets.

2. Standard Pistol: Almost exact replica of FN 57, this is the new standard sidearm for the team. The pistol has a "quick burst" selector which allows a rapid three-round burst every time the trigger is pulled. APIDU 5.7mm rounds are used.

3. Heavy Pistol: One of M-Tech's and Corynn's accomplishments, this was developed as an answer to special operations. The pistol is a multiple-type weapon; it has a laser aperature and a bullet chamber. Using a .50 caliber bullet made of special volatile materilas, the laser is fired the same time the bullet, heating the air in the trajectory and causing the air around the bullet to turn into plasma. Upon impact, the unstable materials create a small but devastating explosion. The pistol can be fired in laser-only or projectile mode, and is fully automatic at 130 rounds per minute with both weapon types.
